Nervous System Reset - 4-Week Yoga Workshop

So many of us spend our lives reacting to our big emotions, such as overwhelm, rage, sadness, and guilt.


We react to our environment and the needs of others before we ever have a chance to respond. This class is designed to understand these emotions so that we can slow down our reactions and respond with choice. 

This 4-week, super sweet evening yoga class combined with nervous system mapping is designed to help you understand and work with your body to calm the nervous system, moving through feelings of stress, anxiety, and overwhelm.

When our nervous system is overwhelmed, we might find ourselves ‘stuck’ in a state of stress or fight/flight/freeze. This could look like snapping at your kids or partner more than you would like, difficulty saying no, and exhaustion or burnout, to name a few! We will be using mind/body tools such as breath, body awareness, and movement to come back into that natural rhythm more easily, creating that sense of safety and connection in the body. 


Our body has a natural rhythm that moves between calm states and stress states. 

In this workshop, you will learn more about working with the natural flow of your nervous system and how to incorporate these tools in your daily life. Followed by a slow and gentle class that brings us back to ourselves before moving into a deep state of rest. Each class ends with a Yoga Nidra practice,  a  journey through the landscape between sleep and wakefulness, a yoga practice that translates into 'yogic sleep'. Providing the deep rest we need. 


All bodies are welcome, class is limited to 6 participants.
