Service Description

Connecting to the body for personal discovery and growth allows us to find the strength and power that are innate inside of us. When we work with the body, moving and breath work, we are able to calm the nervous system and allow room for motivation, problem solving, and planning for the future. When we connect with our body we are connecting with our authentic selves. When we can find within us joy, compassion, and curiosity, possibilities begin to open up. Yoga and movement address issues that other models of healing struggle to address. This is a bottom up approach (gathering information from sensations in the body) that cultivates the mind-body connection. You could also look at this like strengthening your intuition or agency, if you can connect with inner sensations and trust that they are giving you accurate information, you are in control of your feelings and yourself.
